The Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences offers BSc programs on two subjects:
The programs follow the rules of the Bachelor-/Master-Systems according to the Bologna Declaration of 1999. The Bachlor program, being the first step, provides a basic education in natural, social, engineering and subject specific sciences, leads to a Bachelor degree and qualifies for the continuation in a Master’s program.
The Bologna model measures performance in credit points (KP). One KP is equal to an input of 30 hours. Students have to obtain a total of 180 KP from lectures on basics of biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, economics and law. Normally lectures are given in German, with a few exception however in French or English.
The Bachelor programs start in fall. Registration takes place in early summer
