The Master program comprises 90 ECTS Credit Points (European Credit Transfer System). An input of 30 hours of effort results in one CP. The hours are comprised of time time spent in lectures, self-directed studies and exams.
Program structure: Major 40 CP, Minors and/or elective subjects 20 CP, thesis 30 CP.
Normally, the subject for the Master thesis is selected from among the topics offered in the Major.
Optional program: Certified professional training.
Admitted are students who have a Bachelor degree from the ETH in Agricultural or
Food Sciences. Comparable degrees from other universities have to be approved by the Department. We don't require a GRE test, but language tests in German and English must demonstrate proficiency (level C1).
A Master’s degree provides professional qualification.
